Free Our Brothers.

This is what they had on entrance as we got to door of the first Bandidos MC Club defense fund party held at Goldie’s Airport Way Dining & Sports Bar in Seattle, WA.
FlagMan & I were invited to shoot the pictures for the first Bandidos defense fund party on Sunday Aug.7th for (BFB) www.BikerFriendlyBar.com and Quick Throttle.
We were the first six riders to arrive at parking lot of Goldie’s for the party.

FlagMan & I rode up with Roy Fisher, Our ABATE of WA State Coordinator and some members of ABATE of WA EPCC, Tacoma Chapter and the ABATE of WA Rat City Chapter Coordinator to this important event. The Sun was shinning for us on this ride.
We could not have picked a better day for a ride to Seattle WA on a Sunday morning!”
The first person we meet inside is a very colorful person, Bandido Stroker.
Stroker “Is busy setting up everything for the raffles and auctions.”

After meeting and talking with Stroker, “I see that the parking lot is starting to fill up.” There are Bandidos, Destralos, Amigos, Hidalgos, Resurrection, Area 51 riders, ADG, several Christian MTC organizations, and to many others to mention as I looked in the Goldie’s parking lot.

They look like bees coming into the hive. They would all stop and shake hands as they went through the door. At first they backed off, as FlagMan and I walked up to them with a camera in our hands. But after shaking hands and letting them know we were with (BFB) www.BikerFriendlyBar.com and Quick Throttle they all started smiling for the camera.
FlagMan and I were treated with the utmost respect by everyone there.

Smile your on (BFB) they all had one thing in mind. Get the job done, “Raise funds to help their incarcerated brothers.” And (BFB) was there to support them.

The mood of people was not sad nor was it happy. I think they were just glad to see some positive support for there efforts with this defense party. Especially after all the bad press the Bandidos MC club has been seeing in the news media. But, “I could still see the pride in the faces as Flagman and I talked to different members of the Bandidos MC club.”

You can see the pride and the unbroken sprit in the faces, of the ladies and friends of the Bandidos MC club. They would all smile as we walked up to them and asked if we could take their pictures for this article in (BFB) and Quick Throttle.

It was a good day for a ride, and an even better day for the first defense party.

It wasn’t long and Goldie’s started to fill up inside. I then decided to get in the spaghetti line as it was growing quite long. And I do like to eat!
This is when I meet the owners of Goldie’s Dining &
Sports Bar Brad & Cheryl Bogart! I ask Brad how he felt about having the defense party at his Place. Brad Bogart “Said he was happy to host this event for the Bandidos.
Brad said, “I don’t have a motorcycle now but I might think about getting one in the future!” His wife Cheryl, “Said she was also glad they were picked to host the event.”

Well now it is time for raffles and auctions to begin. The Bandidos MC club had collected a lot of different types of prizes. You could see Collector Knifes, Wallets, Hats, Leather Jackets and even books all carefully placed on Stroker’s auction table.
I think there goal was to raise $2,000.00 for there defense party. With Stroker as the auctioneer they would probably make there goal.
It was easy to see that he had done this before, “Stroker was a natural on the microphone.”

Just like I always do at any ABATE of WA EPCC event, Stroker reads the list and thanks all his sponsors for their donations to Bandidos MC Club first defense party.
He had quite a long list of sponsors, to many for me to mention.
I watched Stroker auction off several items with very little effort. Stroker “Was a seasoned crowd pleaser!” But you also have think about the reason that they all came to this party was to help with the Bandidos MC Club defense. It was really good to see different MC clubs working together to help another MC club. It’s like my friend Bandido Tabasco said, “If they can come after the Bandidos MC club who is next!”

The Bandidos MC Club first defense party went off just great every one had a good time as you can see by the picture, “And the bar owners made money to!”
All smiles on and good times, “These are real people!”

Our ABATE of WA State Coordinator Roy Fisher, and Bandido Kenny, enjoying the day at this important event.

Now it was time for the 50/50 winner to be called, “It was one of ours my good friend Nayland, from EPCC!”
After Nayland comes to collect his winnings, “Nayland hands Stroker $40.00 back!”
Nayland, “Says to Bandido Stroker we came here to help you!”
Nayland says, “That’s what the brotherhood is all about helping each other.”

Now it’s time for the big money auction prizes, “The Leather Jackets!”
Easy work for Bandido Stroker, “The words roll off his tong!” Do I here $100 dollars?
Just minutes later you here Bandido Stroker say sold to the pretty lady.

Well that’s one leather jack sold time to sell the next one. Sam, of ADG and ABATE of WA EPCC decided she would try it on for size.

Hum, “Honey it’s a perfect fit.” Don’t you think that jacket will look good on me!
You Can see Bandido Stroker smile, He knows that jacket is sold.

Yes Squirrel I said, “That Fringed Leather Jacket does look good on Sam!”
From what FlagMan and I could see this was a very well organized event.
The food was good, “I had two plates of the spaghetti my self!”
Hey, it was all you can eat for three bucks. I never pass up a good deal.

The place was packed no gripes no grumbles.
This is not quite the picture that you get from the news media is it, “Just a group of normal people having fun and trying to help each other in there time of need!”

One of these men is a Bandido MC Club member and the other man is not, “But they both are Members of ABATE OF WA EPCC!” Both Men are Military Veterans.
And have served this Country’s Military Proudly. They both ride Motorcycles & both should have the same rights and freedoms of the road with out prejudice or persecution.
Just because someone decides to wear an MC Club patch on their back. Does that make them a bad person that always causes trouble when they come in the door of your place of business? I don’t think so.
The first Bandidos MC Club defense fund party was then held at Goldie’s Air Port Way Dining & Sports Bar 3924 Airport Way South with no problems. I talked to the owner Brad Bogart after the party the next day and “Brad told me he would welcome them back for another party any time.”
Special Note: The original published Web Article, and the one in Quick Throttle referred to the Central Saloon, Seattle, WA located in Pioneer Square having concerns with hosting the First Bandidos Defense Party in there place of business.
After further investigation (BFB) has found out that the Central Saloon did not have a problem with hosting the first Bandidos Defense party.
Apparently ,there's been a misunderstanding between the BANDIDOS and the owners of the Central Saloon. The owners have a rule about live music at certain times, on the weekends and they weren't bending that rule for the Defense Party. That was the main issue that got the Defense party moved.
Sources
tell (BFB) that the owners and
management of the Central Saloon have always been supportive of Bikers in past
and do not have a no colors policy. Bikers are always welcome!!
(BFB) will be
sending someone to check out the Central Saloon, to add them to the (BFB)
Web Site as a Biker Friendly Bar. Dragoni:
